Good Morning my friends,
Hope all is well with you and your families. So, yesterday I had a really good day and today is going to be even better. Last night, I was watching the Pursuit to Happyness, staring Will Smith - movie about a single father Chris Gardner (Will Smith) and his personal/life struggles. Evicted from their apartment, he and his young son (Jaden Christopher Syre Smith) find themselves alone with no place to go. Even though Chris eventually lands a job as an intern at a prestigious brokerage firm, the position pays no money. The pair must live in shelters and endure many hardships, but Chris refuses to give in to despair as he struggles to create a better life for himself and his son. As I am sitting there watching this heartfelt movie, my heart begin to swell with empathy, sorrow, love, and appreciation. My mother and father were not millionaires, but we lived in a lower middle class area and never knew that we didn't have money. My parents always provided for us and we never went without food, clothes, heat, etc. They worked their butts off to provide for their kids. Watching the Chris Gardner story reminded me that life isn't always fair, but if you focus on the positives and stay in faith - life will turn out pretty good for you. God is the provider of every good and perfect gift. Although we may have some obstacles in our path right now, thank the Lord for the strength He gives us to overcome them. Thank God continually for all of the gifts He showers on us, both big and small. Today, write down all of your blessings...it may take awhile because we are blessed on a daily basis with Gods gifts. Instead of focusing on the parts of our life that are not going as planned, choose to focus on the good things that God has put in our life. Today's Prayer Be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry JAMES 1:19 KC-isms 26) Keep a tight lid on your temper 27) Tip the cleaning women/men that clean your hotel room (place in an envelope with a Thank you note) 28) Always squeeze your toothpaste from the bottom 29) Show respect for Military personnel 30) Take out the garbage without being told Love you for reading my Blog!

I love reading your posts because it is a personal one. I love reading blog posts where I can feel the honesty and trust to the readers. As a blogger, I know the danger of being real to your readers, that's why most of the bloggers I know couldn't do it easily. By the way, I am praying for your fast recovery. You may be in a very challenging situation right now, but everything will be cleared so I am praying that you will not lose hope.
